The most significant addition to the January patch is an all-new game mode. Dubbed "BR: Extreme," this game contains 64 players in a 20-minute round. You play in a smaller area of Troi, and each location changes from one match to the next. All survivors start with a modest selection of loot, but two care packages drop immediately to help you upgrade your gear. Overall, BR: Extreme is a fast-paced version of the standard game mode.
